Strategic Initiatives Conference Interest Submission

Columbia University is hosting the 2024 Strategic Initiatives Conference (SIC) and we look forward to gathering with industry leaders to share challenges and best practices while we shape this emerging field within higher education philanthropy. We seek participation from colleagues working on Strategic Initiatives at leading institutions of higher education. To curate a participant group that can most effectively learn and share together, the SIC is by invitation only.

We are seeking professionals who are actively planning or executing fundraising for a strategic initiative at a prominent research institution; have demonstrated success in raising principal or transformational, multidisciplinary gifts for initiatives such as centers, institutes, strategic/presidential priorities; and those in a position to influence academic and/or advancement/development leadership to support these complex endeavors.

Invitations to multiple colleagues from an institution will be extended based on: Past participation in SICs; role diversity (e.g., individual giving, foundation relations, principal giving); the overall number of projected participants in the conference.
